1.) Registration will open from 9am until 10am.
2.) The walk will officially start at 9.30am and close at 2pm.
3.) All walkers must report to the REGISTRATION DESK
Preregistered walkers should present their Walker Ticket or confirmation email and report the charity/ good cause they are walking for and the amount of sponsorship money they expect to raise. Your details may be shared with the charity/good cause that you are walking for,
Non registered persons wanting to walk will be asked to complete a Registration Form and pay the appropriate fee.
4.) As recommended by the Police, walkers will be released in batches to prevent congestion at the start.
5.) Photographs will be taken during the event and may be used by the Rotary Club for publicity purposes. The signature on the Registration Form, or on-line registration signifies acceptance of this by the individual walker/group.
6.) Walkers are welcome to bring dogs but they must be kept on a lead at all times. They will be the sole responsibility of the walker at all times who will also clean up after them as required.
7.) Refreshments will be available at the start and finish of the event and also at certain points along the route.
8.) Toilet facilities will be available at the start and finish of the event and at certain points along the route.
9.) The Rotary Club may use your email address to inform you of important information about the walk, including the date of next year’s walk. They will not use your email address for any other purpose. You may remove your email address from our database by clicking on a link on any of the emails.
